Aschau im Chiem­gau is a small vil­la­ge bet­ween Munich and Salz­burg. The unob­s­truc­ted view of the Kam­pen­wand and the Hohen­aschau Cast­le is breath­ta­king. The town cen­ter with its many shops, cafes, restau­rants, doc­tors, phar­maci­es, banks and a post office can be rea­ched in a few minu­tes on foot. Kin­der­gar­ten and ele­men­ta­ry school are loca­ted in the vil­la­ge. Secon­da­ry schools with cor­re­spon­ding dri­ving offers can be found in Prien and Rosen­heim. The sur­roun­ding moun­ta­ins and the Prien­tal offer you many pos­si­bi­li­ties to enjoy natu­re. In win­ter, for exam­p­le, you can use the small ski­ing area of the Kam­pen­wand or in sum­mer you can choo­se bet­ween clim­bing, moun­tain biking or hiking. The high­way A8 Munich-Salz­burg, as well as the near­by Chiem­see can be rea­ched in about 10 minu­tes by car.
